Producer: Andrew Green

Andrew Green is born in Glasgow and gained his screen industry experience in Soho before returning to Scotland; he is one of the company directors of Accidental Media and head of content development and acquisitions. He is Accidental Media’s lead producer and is currently developing the dramatic feature Hoodie and further building the company in fiction, documentary and online content. Andy’s most recent film, as producer is Tomorrow’s Fairground, which screened on BBC2 December 2009.

Andy’s fifteen years’ experience as a video and film editor covers a broad spectrum of styles and contexts, from promos and commercials to broadcast documentaries and short dramas. He won a Cannes Media Lion Award while working as an editor for Saatchi & Saatchi. As an editor he can count MTV, Lucasfilm and ARTE among his clients. He co-directed “Souvenirs” – a short documentary about immigrants in the UK – and edited “Then a Summer Starts” – a short fiction about teenage love, both funded by Scottish Screen and UK Film Council.

Andy has attended the NPA ‘Five Week Producers Intensive Training’ and has completed a 2-year training in TV Production and Operation. The music video he produced for Scottish band Le Reno Amps has recently been nominated for a BAFTA Scotland New Talent Award.
